Costi Immigrant Services
COSTI’s Problem Gambling Services include culturally and linguistically appropriate prevention, education and treatment for gamblers and family members. The program targets ethno-specific communities such as the Hindi, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Spanish, Sinhalese, Tagalog, Tamil, and Vietnamese speaking communities. A new video resource, titled New Beginnings: Problem Gambling Awareness Kit for Newcomers in Ethnocultural Communities, is available for professionals for use with recent newcomers to Canada. The video provides information on problem gambling and offers suggestions on prevention and can be downloaded from their website.

Lawyer Referral Services (LRS)
Provides names of lawyers in your area who offer free ½ hour consultations. A small fee is charged to your telephone number. For those under 18 and the homeless, a free crisis line is available if calling from prison or a hospital.

OFIFC is a provincial Aboriginal organization representing the collective interests of 27 member Friendship Centres located throughout the province.
